Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated - Pi Chi Omega Chapter
Pi Chi Omega Chapter
Pi Chi Omega was chartered on Saturday, June 6, 1987, at the Ramada Inn Hotel (now Holiday Inn) in West Memphis, Arkansas by the late Mrs. Jewel McFarlin Thomas, then South Central Regional Director. This momentous event took place seventy-nine years after the organizing of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority; thus fulfilled the dream of Rose McGee and several other professional women in the Crittenden County area. The desire of those ladies was to directly provide needed community services to residents of Crittenden County the Alpha Kappa Alpha way!
